Turtle Conservation Project

Turtles are creatures that have survived since the age of dinosaurs, however their numbers have been depleting recently due to human activities leaving many of them on the brink of extinction. We have partnered up with the Kosgoda turtle conservation centre where you will be given an opportunity to release new born turtle hatchlings back to the sea.

Mask Making

Sri Lanka is host to a plethora of cultural rites and rituals. Masks have been utilised in Sri Lankan culture for eons where they have been placed as conduits for healing illnesses as well as used in ritualistic dances and performances since the ages of kings. We offer hands on workshops where you can craft masks of your own, essentially creating a piece of Sri Lankan heritage.

The art of making lace was inherited from the Dutch and the Portuguese during their inhabitancy in the nation to be assimilated to become one of Sri Lanka’s cherished traditions. It’s extremely popular in Galle and is a fun activity to try with your loved ones.
